WITH the festive season fast approaching, students at Harlow University Centre are inviting people to a Christmas cake sale in aid of St Clare Hospice on Monday, December 16.
Organiser Charlotte Castle, who is studying BA Journalism, said: “We hope that many of Harlow’s locals will attend and show their support to raise money at such a festive time and make this small gesture a triumph for the town’s youth who will be helping at the event.
“Over the years, St Clare Hospice has worked with the local community to raise money to help care for patients with life-changing illnesses and has provided a great amount of care for the gravely ill and their families. Everyone deserves a merry Christmas so please come along and support us.”
The cake sale is being held in the Atrium of Harlow College at 12pm.
