TWO Harlow activists are encouraging young people to register to vote.
Jake Shepherd and Emma Batrick spent a day outside Harlow College as part of a campaign to raise awareness.
Jake said: “We just want to get more people to register. Even if you are sixteen you can still register.
“There has been a mixed response but if we have go just one person to register then it will have been worthwhile.
Emma said: “I wanted to reach young people and get them to think how their vote could impact their lives.
“From a political point of view, I want them to look past the marketing and look into Robert Halfon’s voting record and assess if he represents their views?”
Both Jake and Emma are set to campaign at other schools and colleges.
