Robert Halfon’s best bit: “Is it any wonder that the Left claim a monopoly of compassion.”

Precisely put Robert and then you followed up with Truth No.1: “We’ve got no message or narrative. No one really understands what Conservatism is all about, except in terms of austerity economics and Brexit.”

Then Truth No.2: “We’ve allowed Labour to claim the positive language of compassion. The words social justice, welfare, NHS, compassion, low pay, the poor, poverty, the underdog are all associated with the Left.”

Robert, many working people already know what an uncaring lot the Tories are. That’s why so many ordinary people chant: “Oh Jeremy Corbyn.”
