WE interviewed the chief executive of Harlow Council, Malcom Morley in his final week as head of the council.
Although the interview is part of our heritage project much of the interview is dedicated to Mr Morley’s fourteen years at the helm of the council.
By all reports, the council was in pretty poor shape when he took over. However, he is such a self effacing man that we had too coax out some of his major achievements.
We think our fifteen minute interview is a fascinating insight into the world of local government.
