Harlow is 70: Why They Came Here: From Chippingfield to New Hall

AFTER 365 days, this is our final piece for our project in partnership with Harlow Museum called Harlow is 70: Why They Came Here.

As we started in one of Harlow New Town’s first streets, Chippingfield on January 1st, so we thought it was appropriate to finish on the edge of the New Hall estate between Church Langley and Old Harlow.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported the project, especially Sharon and the team at Harlow Museum/Science Alive, Becci Court and the team at Harlow Council. The Heritage Lottery: Thanks for supporting us.

Absolutely splendid series. Your comment re Harlow at 75 is very relevant. We need to plan what we’re going to do – starting now. Lots of people out there with lots of ideas – I’m sure. Happy new year
