Man arrested on suspicion of assault on New Years Day

A MAN has been charged with serious assault after an alleged incident on New Years Day.

Colin Jones, aged 29, of Great Brays, Harlow has been charged with the following.

On 01/01/2018 at Harlow, assaulted another, thereby occasioning, actual bodily harm.

On 01/01/2018 at Harlow without lawful excuse, destroyed drinking glasses to the value of unknown belonging to another intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.

Between 25.12.17 and 26.12.17, at Harlow, you did assault another causing them actual bodily harm.

Between 25/12/2017 and 26/12/2017 at Harlow without lawful excuse, damaged I-PHONE 7 to the value of £600 belonging to another intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.

On 01/01/2018 at Harlow resisted a constable in the execution of his duty.

On 01/01/2018 at Harlow assaulted another, thereby occasioning her, actual bodily harm.

Jones has been remanded on bail until January 11th when he is set to next appear at Chelmsford magistrates court.
