HARLOW’s next generation of tennis stars have just completed a six week “Get Into Tennis” at the Latton Bush Centre.
Backed by the Lawn Tennis Association and run by staff at the Harlow Tennis Club, children between the age of six and ten enjoyed six weeks of tennis lessons where they got a real feel for the sport.
The players learned skills which will help their hand to eye co-ordination as well as the basics of body movement and ball-hitting skills.
Harlow Tennis Club coach Luke Spooner said: “The young people have really thrown themselves into this and have all grasped the basics of tennis.
“Lots of enthusiasm and lots of potential. We look forward to seeing them again.”
