Fire engulfs Northbrooks House

Statement from Essex Fire Service

Firefighters were called to a fire in a derelict building in Harlow last night (Saturday).

When firefighters arrived it was reported that over 60% of the building was on fire.

Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire by 11pm.

An investigation will take place in order to ascertain the cause of the fire.

There has been a fire at Northbrooks House in Harlow.

Several fire units from Essex and Herts Fire Services were in attendance.

Northbrooks House is close to Harlow Town Centre.

YH understands that the building was unoccupied.

Herts Fire Brigade has reported that there have been no injuries.
