Harlow drink-driver jailed after being found with knife and three times over the limit in Sainsbury’s car park

A HARLOW resident has been jailed for six months for charges that include drink driving, possessing a knife and threatening behaviour.

Cezary Wasilewski, aged 54, of The Dashes, Harlow was found guilty of the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

On 09/08/2018 at Harlow, drove a motor vehicle, namely BMW X5, on a road, namely Maddox Road and First Avenue, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in your breath, namely 102 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit.

On 09/08/2018 at Harlow, had with you, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place Sainsbury’s Car Park an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely a Lock Knife.

On 09/08/2018 at The Dashes, Harlow used towards another threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause that person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them by any person, or to provoke the immediate use of unlawful violence by her whereby that person was likely to believe that such violence would be used, or it was likely that such violence would be provoked.

On 08/08/2018 at Harlow with intent to cause another harassment, alarm or distress, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, thereby causing that person or another harassment, alarm or distress.

Wasilewski was sentenced to two months in prison and fined £735.00. He was also disqualified from driving for 27 months.
