Harlow man fined for making threatening phone call

A HARLOW man has been fined for making a threatening phone call to another.

Paul Lyons, aged 42, of Church End, Harlow pled guilty to the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

On 24/07/2018 at Harlow sent to another an electronic communication, namely a phone call which conveyed a threat for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety to the recipient or to any other person to whom you intended that it or its contents or nature should be communicated.

Lyons was fined £85.00 and made subject to a community order where he must undertake 100 hours of unpaid work.
