POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a woman they want to speak to in connection with the theft of a Dyson cleaner from B&M Bargains in Princess Gate, Harlow, at 3.55pm on January 15. A woman entered the store and selected a Dyson cleaner, then leaving the shop making no attempt to pay. A man was waiting in a white Ford Transit van outside for her to return.
POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary in Harlow. A house in The Hides was broken in to between 7.30pm and 10pm on February 7. Entry was gained via a back window and its thought suspects would have entered from the main road and jumped over the rear fence.
CONNOR Smithers of Northbrooks, Harlow, appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court on Tuesday, February 4, having been convicted of two burglaries in Rundells and Chippingfield , Harlow which happened on July 12. He also admitted a further 20 burglaries and eight offences of taking a motor vehicle, which were taken in to consideration by the court.
A 24-year-old man from Harlow was arrested on January 31 on suspicion of arson and released on bail pending further enquiries until March 31. Police attended Mini and Acy Exports Limited in Towers Road at just before 4am following reports from the fire service that the premises were on fire. There were reports that six vehicles had been damaged in the blaze.
Following the overnight rainfall, the River Stort at Harlow is rising and is not expected to peak until mid afternoon. The river levels are expected to be higher than those seen on Saturday 1st February. Property flooding is possible for those properties closest to the river. There will be flooding of low lying land and roads.

A man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated taking a motor vehicle without permission, vehicle damage, driving a vehicle under the influence of drugs, failure to provide an analysis, no driving licence and no insurance. He has been bailed pending further enquiry until March 12th.

THE ENVIRONMENT Agency has lifted a flood warning for the River Stort area in Harlow. However, as the attached photo shows the Burnt Mill Lane that runs by the Moorhen pub is virtually impassable.
It is alleged they entered the store in Broad Walk at around 7.45pm on December 19. They selected a jacket from the display, the man tried it on and the pair left with the man still wearing it, making no attempt to pay. The man is described as white, with short, fair hair and was wearing blue jeans and a white T shirt. The woman was white with very long dark brown hair and was wearing blue jeans and a green parka jacket.
A MAN was in hospital on Friday after a car crashed into six parked vehicles on Harberts Road, Harlow. Police were called at just after midday. A Ford Focus had crashed into stationary vehicles.

A man had entered the shop at 7.55pm on Sunday December 22, 2013 and approached a staff member at a checkout which was closed.
POLICE want to identify a woman who was caught on CCTV at the time that food and wine, worth £63, were stolen from a shop in Harlow. The suspect had entered the Co-op store in Colt Hatch, Harlow at 5pm on January 11. She had then placed a number of items from the shelves into a bag and left the store without making any attempt to pay for them. She is described as white, aged in her late 30s to early 40s, with long dark brown hair in a ponytail.
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision on Epping Road, Roydon, Harlow. The head on collision happened at approximately 11.30am and caused chest injuries to one of the car occupants, as well as extensive damage to both cars.

DETECTIVES in Harlow are renewing their appeal for information about an assault in Harlow which left a 17-year-old man with a broken ankle and facial injuries.
