A MAN has been charged, and another arrested, following an incident in Harlow where a 17-year-old boy was assaulted. Dean Neil, 20, of Altham Grove, Harlow, was charged with grievous bodily harm without intent and assault in connection with the incident in Woodwards, Harlow, on the evening of Friday November 22.
POLICE are appealing for information following the assault of a woman in Harlow. At about 6.50am on November 20, a 52-year-old local woman was walking in Tawneys Road near to St Stephens Church when she was approached by a man who punched her in the face causing bruising around her right eye.

DETECTIVES are appealing for information after a man had his wallet stolen in Harlow. The victim, who is in his 20’s, was on the track leading from Dads Wood and Playhouse Square, at around 2.45am on Friday November 15 when he was approached by two men.

AT 7pm on Sunday, November 24, there was a two vehicle collision on the M11 Southbound track between the M25 intersection (J6) and the Loughton junction (J5). One of these vehicles was an Essex Police dog unit on an emergency response, the other was a black Vauxhall Zafira.
POLICE WERE called to Old Harlow on Sunday morning after reported sightings of an armed man. Armed police response units along with the police helicopter searched the High Street area of Old Harlow but there was no trace. Units searched other areas of the town such as The Stow and Bush Fair.

A BUS driver from Harlow is still in a critical condition after a road traffic collision in Coopersale Common on Tuesday afternoon. According to reports, his bus collided with another bus carrying schoolchildren from the Anglo-European school in Ingatestone.
A SERIES of public exhibitions about the proposed motorway junction on the M11 at Harlow comes to town next month. The exhibitions will be the first opportunity for householders, drivers, businesses and other interested parties to view proposals for the Junction 7a scheme and offer feedback.
POLICE are at the scene of a road collision involving two buses at Coopersale near Epping. Officers were called to Epping Road at 4.27pm today, Wednesday November 20, following reports of a collision between a school bus and local bus near the junction with Coopersale Common Road.
POLICE would like to speak with this man about a theft from Boots in Harlow. A man walked into the store, in Broad Walk, at about 1pm on November 9 and selected some aftershave from the display.
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a road traffic collision (rtc) in Harlow at lunchtime today (Nov 19th). The rtc involved two vehicles and occurred at 1pm on Fourth Avenue. Crews were able to assist the woman from her vehicle and place in the care of Essex air ambulance.

A group of people walked into the B& M Bargains Store, in Princes Gate, Howard Way, and selected goods from the display including an electric heater, a wicker basket, a steam mop and some small electrical items. These were loaded into a shopping trolley before they left, making no attempt to pay.
HAVING been invited on stage, Mr Cleghorn collected his award at the National Sales Awards after party, where he was congratulated on winning one of the most notoriously difficult categories. The committee was highly impressed with Mr Cleghorn’s work, acknowledging him as an “outstanding” Telesales Executive.
THEY approached the victim and then rifled through her pockets and took her money. The woman was not physically harmed but she was left very distressed by the incident. The first suspect is described as black, in his late 30s, 5ft 9in tall, of stocky build, with short hair and a line beard and moustache. He was wearing a cream jumper and blue jeans. The second man was black, in his mid 20s, with wavy hair which was shorter on the sides. He was 5ft 6in tall, of chubby build, and was wearing a shiny black adidas top and blue jeans.
STEWARDS Academy excelled itself this year with a sensational double bill at the annual Shakespeare Schools Festival. A cast of 40 pupils brought Macbeth and Julius Caesar to life. Directors Di Johnson, Karen Batterham and Sam Ramsey were delighted with the manner in which pupils threw themselves into these roles and brought their characters to life on stage at Broxbourne Civic Hall.
THE ALBERNI STRING Quartet will be saying farewell to Peter Pople on Sunday. A special concert will be held at the St John’s Arc at 8pm on Sunday November 10th. The concert celebrates their thirty years association with the ARC.
