THE Chords were, along with The Jam & Secret Affair, one of the biggest bands of the late 1970′s Mod Revival scene. Their debut single “Now it’s Gone” was released in 1979 followed up by “Maybe Tomorrow” which got the band their first appearance on Top of the Pops.

Dodgy set to produce fireworks at The Square

DODGY are playing The Square on Saturday 5th November. Dodgy are an English power pop rock trio, that rose to prominence during the Britpop era of the 1990s. They are best known for their hits “Staying Out for the Summer”, “If You’re Thinking of Me”, and “Good Enough”.

Harlow comedian has head shaved for dear friend Paul Bonello

THE event was last Saturday October 1st, as a fundraiser for the British Heart Foundation, in memory of a dear friend Paul “Bellsy” Bonello, who sadly passed away back in April. Paul was returning from holiday, when he was taken seriously ill on the plane due to Deep Vein Thrombosis. He was moved to a hospital on landing and then died shortly after.

Link-Fest line-up confirmed

THE LINE-UP for the popular Link Fest concerts has been confirmed. The concerts will take place on three days over the summer: Sunday June 29th and Saturday August 23rd.
