HARLOW UKIP councillor Bill Pryor has dismissed reports that the UK could face a recession should we choose to leave the EU in the upcoming referendum on the 23rd of June.

“DURING the last year I must have spent pounds on fuel sitting on congested Harlow roads due to the ludicrous use of bus lanes and as if this what not bad enough they installed traffic lights in the middle of these bus lanes so that the main stream traffic has to sit in the queue twice. Essex County Council and Harlow Council traffic engineers should be ashamed at creating such major congestion and inconvenience on the road for the citizens on all major entries and exits to our town.

UKIP to protest against EU flag

ESSEX County Council is planning to fly the EU flag to mark the visit that day by auditors from the European Union, who will be auditing the MaxiGreen Project which is part funded by Brussels, using taxpayers’ money. The MaxiGreen project raises awareness and promotes the South Essex Marshes through the development of Thames Estuary path maps, signage and mobile applications designed to orientate and inform visitors to the various gateways and green heritage attractions.

The day was motivated after comments by the Harlow MP, Robert Halfon. The day was dominated by members of the party on the doorsteps of Harlow residents, listening to their concerns.

The anti-EU Party has organised a major day of action in Harlow on Saturday 29th March. UKIP members from all over the East of England will converge on Harlow for a mass leaflet distribution, starting at 10.30am, from the Latton Bush Centre in Southern Way.
