THE LEADER of Harlow Conservatives, cllr Andrew Johnson has expressed his concerns at how mass immigration could affect Harlow.
His comments came at a meeting of the ruling Labour cabinet at the Civic Offices.
The debate centred on the arrangements for houses of multiple occupancy in the town.
Residents have made complaints regarding houses next to them and especially flats above them which appear to have a large number of people, often from eastern europe, living and/or residing there.
Cllr Johnson said: ‘I am concerned that we get this legislation right. It is a concern expressed by our party nationally and by the Harlow Conservatives that mass immigration could have a severe impact on both the country and Harlow in particular.
