THAT WAS the question posed by the leader of the Harlow Conservatives, Andrew Johnson at a full council meeting in Harlow last night.
The Church Langley councillor made the comment as council’s all across the country share services more and more.
Cllr Johnson said: “It may well be a fact of life that this council is simply too small in its present form.
“The reality may be that we may see the end of the council in its present form in five or ten years time.
“Shared services will not only be a reality in order to save services.”
Councils such as Thurrock now share services with over seven different council.
YH will be interviewing cllr Johnson next week to study in depth his view of the future for Harlow Council.
