AN APPLICATION to erect an Aldi’s supermarket in The Stow is set to go before the Harlow Council planning committee tonight (Wednesday).
The application has been before the committee before but the siting, next to the Howards Way roundabout has seen the application rejected due to “design, layout and parking.”
The application has found favour with many residents.
Among the supportive statements are:
“It would breathe new life into a very run down area.”
“Increased footfall in the area would benefit other shops and residents.”
YH will report on tonights outcome.
