IT SAYS something about the high regard that the Harlow Playhouse is kept in, that UK tour for the 25th anniversary of the Buddy Holly Story kicks off at the Playhouse on Thursday August 29th. (with further shows on Friday and Saturday at 7.30pm plus a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.

Over the years, it has become known as a show for all the family as generations have thrilled, not only at the music of Buddy Holly but the quality of the whole production.

Whether you are speaking to the producer Matt Salisbury, Buddy himself (Glen Joseph) or even dropping in on rehearsals, the one word that comes through time and time again, is ‘Energy!”

YourHarlow took their cameras and dropped in on rehearsals. We then spoke to Buddy, Glen Joseph about the show and what it means to him.
