rugladiesHarlow Rugby Club Ladies Prepare for the new season

Harlow Ladies XV have been training for some weeks and on Sunday 8th September they face a tough challenge before they start their league campaign the following week. They are at home for a pre-season warm up game to New Ash Green who have been promoted for this season to the RFUW Championship Div 2 South East. This places them a division above Harlow who play in National Challenge SE North Div I. where they finished 4th last season.

The Ladies recently took part in a triangular 10 aside tournament which gave them a chance to get several brand new players on the pitch for a trial run before the season commences. Numbers are looking good even though a couple of players have left the squad and relocated as a result of work commitments.

New players however are always welcome, whether beginners wanting to learn the game or experienced players maybe looking to play at a higher level. Harlow have a long-standing relationship with the Kent side and the game on the 8th should provide a good workout for both sides; not to mention some good entertainment for the spectators.

Admission to the ground is free for both adults and accompanied children; why not bring the family along.

Forthcoming Ladies home games:

Sunday 8th September v New Ash Green Home Friendly – Pre season warm up
Sunday 15th September v Wellingborough Home League
Sunday 6th October v Wymondham Home League
