CHARITY FUNDRAISER, Sam Snelling is the man who cannot stop giving back to the hospital that saved his son’s life.
Sam Snelling (30), of Victoria Gate, Harlow, organized a charity curry night at the Garden of India in Bush Fair as part of his fund-raising campaign.
In 2011, his son, Ralph, was born seriously ill after ingesting meconium, during his birth, causing his lungs to collapse and kidneys to fail.
But after spending time in the specialist unit at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, receiving round-the-clock care, Ralph made a remarkable recovery and is now a healthy, happy child about to celebrate his third birthday.
YH spoke to Sam at the fundraiser about how much he had raised and what his plans are for the next few months.
