Bring your stamps to Harlow Council and help St Clares

HARLOW Council has a collection box for used postage stamps in its reception at the Civic Centre in Harlow on behalf of St Clare Hospice.
The charity, which was set up in 1990 and provides palliative care at its hospice in Hastingwood, is looking for people to donate unwanted stamps from their post to raise funds.
Councillor Ian Beckett, Vice-Chair of the Council, took receipt of the collection box.
He said: “This is a very worthy cause and as a community leader the Council is proud to be involved.
“Having a collection box at the Civic Centre gives the hospice a central location within the town for people to make their donations, and I would urge all Council staff, residents coming into the Civic Centre, as well as local businesses, to help by bringing in their unwanted postage stamps.”
