Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has announced £5.7m extra funding for Princess Alexandra Hospital ensuring it will be ready for any additional demand on services that might occur this winter. The extra funds, in addition to £470,000 in funding for St Clare Hospice, should ensure it can provide a good service to everyone that needs it this Christmas.

Harlow MP Robert Halfon has welcomed the announcement of new funding to help Princess Alexandra Hospital, “For the hardworking NHS staff that serve my constituents this extra money will be a welcome boost this winter, when A&E departments come under most pressure.”
