IN the run-up to Halloween, why not spook yourself silly with a Fright Hike Challenge through Epping Forest at night in aid of St Clare Hospice?
Designed as a team event, the 30km overnight walk in six hours on Saturday, October 26 is one Hell of an adventure and will challenge your mind and body.
It is organised by a professional company, with marshalled checkpoints, so why not sign up with your friends, family of work colleagues…or dare you go it alone?
Notorious for ghost sightings and paranormal activity, Epping Forest is reputed to be home to the ghost of murderous highwayman Dick Turpin and with its large church, surrounding cemetery and the legendary Hangman’s Hill, where criminals and convicts were executed in days gone by, it provides a terror-ific backdrop for this fangtastic event.
This spooktacular walk is not for the faint-hearted and is guaranteed to be a night you will never forget!
