Communities / Tue 8th Oct 2013 am31 08:27am

A YEAR on from a house fire that killed six members of the same family, the surviving father has issued a fresh appeal for information.

The blaze tore through the family home in Barn Mead, Harlow, in the early hours of 15th October 2012, and although the deaths are being treated as murders, the cause of the fire remains a mystery.

Dr Abdul Shakoor spoke to Daybreak about his fond memories of his youngest daughter and his gratitude to the local community.

Dr Shakoor said: “The whole of the Harlow community have been great: The hospital, the schools, the police have all played a great role.

Dr Shakoor fought through the tears to recall his youngest daughter’s love of books and characters such as Fireman Sam
