OVER 250 of the great and the good of Harlow gathered at the Manor of Groves for the Heart4Harlow awards.

Burnt Mill Academy was awarded a prize in recognition of their excellence. And staying with education, Passmores head-teacher Vic Goddard also received an award for his outstanding contribution to education in the town.

Owner of the CM17 magazine Lorraine Perry won an award as a community builder.

Among the other winners is arts leader and guru Roger Lee as well as HomeStart Harlow.
