HARLOW Running Club member Steve Murtagh completed the Great Eastern Half Marathon at Peterborough in 45th place out of 3842 finishers and 3rd Vet 45 in an excellent 1hr 16min. He was followed home by Lyndon Cooper in 56th place in a personal best time for the distance of 1hr 17min 03sec. In their debuts at the distance, Sandra Rust was 1393rd in 1hr 49min 24sec and Sarah Marriage was 3114th in 2hr 11min 21sec.

At the Ware 10 mile race Jamie Jephcott finished in 20th place out of 307 finishers in a superb 68min 59sec. He was followed home by son Daniel in a PB time of 73min 46sec and there were also PB’s for Andy Ramage (91st, 80.55), Holly Nairn (152nd, 89.03) and Michelle Aitken (216th, 95.50).

At the Tiptree 10 Mile race John Tennant finished in 61st place out of
286 finishers and 1st Vet 60 in 1hr 12min 27sec and Vicky Calver was
280th in 1hr 59min 49sec.

Andy Kinney completed his 75th half marathon at Zagreb in Croatia
finishing in 748th position out of 1123 finishers in 2hrs 03min 29sec.

At the Lee Valley 10K Adrian Fell finished in 14th position in 40min
23sec and Robin Lozeau was 76th in 48min 29sec.

At the Gunpowder Parkrun 5K at Waltham Abbey John Bull finished in 5th
place out of 83 finishers in 21min 26sec and Robin Lozeau was 20th in
23min 31sec.

At the Chelmsford Parkrun 5K David Page finished in 79th position out
of 218 finishers in 23min 44sec and wife Janice was 81st and 1st Vet
50 in 23min 48sec
