YOUNG people from across the town will be joined by councillors, union representatives and Suzy Stride as they travel to Chelmsford to fight against possible cuts to youth services.
Ms Stride, believes the loss of the youth workers team will harm the employment and housing prospects of hundreds of young people.
The protest will be on 31st October from noon outside County Hall in Chelmsford.
She said: “Youth workers play a hugely important role in the lives of the young people who need help. They have proved in the past to a valuable source of good advice on housing, employment and personal difficulties. We destroy that service at our peril. The council must think again.”
