POLICE are appealing for any witnesses to a collision in Haydens Road, Harlow yesterday (Friday) around 1.40pm where the driver of a blue Ford Transit van appears to have become unwell and collided with another vehicle.

The 54 year old man from Harlow was treated by ambulance crews and taken to the Cardiac unit at Basildon Hospital where he remains in a very serious condition.

The occupants of the other vehicle, a Ford Focus, were uninjured.
