GATEHOUSE ARTS have their “Secret Postcard” show and grand auction happening next Saturday November 16th at 6pm for 6.30pm start.

A spokesperson said: “We have had over 130 postcards submitted this year from local artists as well as overseas entries including Arizona and Austria!

“All postcards can be viewed at our website www.gatehousearts.com under the Instagram gallery tab.

“Our exhibition continues to be open for viewing at the Westgate gallery Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11am-2pm next week with the auction Saturday.

“You can bid on any of the artworks in the book in the gallery starting at £1 and selected postcards will be auctioned live on the night to see how much we can raise for our chosen charities ACAVA who fund our gallery and studios and St Clare Hospice.

“There is a £1 entry fee to include a drink with all proceeds going to charity.

“Last years auction was great fun and we raised £700! We welcome again Harlow MP Robert Halfon who will be opening the bids with a guest auctioneer spot at the start of the evening.”
