ANDREW Bramidge, the new Project Director (Enterprise Zone Delivery) who will concentrate specifically on the delivery of Harlow Enterprise Zone has now taken up his new role.
The post is being funded for the next three years by the South East Local Enterprise Partnership. Andrew will support the Harlow Enterprise Zone Board which is made up of private and public sector organisations including Harlow Council, Essex County Council, Anglia Ruskin University, GSK, Raytheon and independent individuals with specialist knowledge.
Andrew, who is the former Chief Executive of Harlow Renaissance Ltd, will support the development of the 51-hectare Harlow Enterprise Zone at London Road and Templefields East.
The Enterprise Zone in Harlow is focusing on attracting and growing businesses from the Health and Allied Industries, Advanced Manufacturing and Information Communication Technology sectors with the public sector supporting investment in the assets within the Zone by the private sector.”
Greg Clark, Chairman of Harlow Enterprise Zone Board, said: “Andrew has a huge amount of experience in urban regeneration and a good track record of delivering regeneration programmes working with the private and public sectors. He knows Harlow well from his time at Harlow Renaissance.
Whilst a huge amount of work behind the scenes has ensured that the Enterprise Zone is in a position to move forwards Andrew’s role will be key in working with partners to start bringing the Enterprise Zone to life. We are delighted that Andrew has started work and look forward to welcoming him at the next board meeting.”
