Holly and Belle help promote Santa Run

Charity / Sat 23rd Nov 2013 at 09:44am

TWO furry friends have been helping bring some extra Christmas magic to St Clare Hospice’s annual Santa Run.

Their team of Santas recently went along to Harlow’s Pets Corner to meet their resident reindeer, Holly and Belle, to help promote the family-friendly event taking place on Sunday, December 8.

St Clare events fundraiser Grace Malek said: “Holly and Belle were the perfect models to help us promote our Santa Run and were extremely well-behaved for our photographer. They both looked adorable with their Christmas bells hung around their necks and didn’t seem at all fazed to be surrounded by five Santas!”

The Santas taking part in our festive fun run will be making their way round the 4km route under their own steam rather than by sleigh – and we are hoping hundreds of people of all ages will sign up for the Harlow event, which starts at Harlow Leisurezone, as well as a second Santa Run being held in Epping High Street on Thursday, December 12.

Registration is £15 for adults, who will receive a free Santa suit and £5 for children, which includes a free Santa hat. Families of four can enter for £37.50.
