Come and help clear the pond in Katherines

AS part of the Harlow Community Builder Trial, residents in the Katherines ward of Harlow have been consulted to find out what concerns them in their area and what they would be willing to get involved in improving.
As a result of this consultation Kelly Tarling, the Rainbow Services Community Builder, has planned a Community Day for Saturday 18th January.
The plan is to start to clear the Church End Pond site, to make it more accessible to the community, and to encourage the wildlife to return for everyone to enjoy. The work will involve several partners and local organisations and the plan is to bring this great idea to life.
They will be applying for further funding for signage etc, in order to make the pond as safe as possible and to be accessible to everyone.
Do come and see for yourselves what can be done when a community comes together to ‘make things happen’. Everyone is invited!
If you would like any further information please get in touch with Kelly Tarling at [email protected] or ring 07793 007737
