Woman wanted after theft at Colt Hatch

POLICE want to identify a woman who was caught on CCTV at the time that food and wine, worth £63, were stolen from a shop in Harlow.

The suspect had entered the Co-op store in Colt Hatch (near Spring Hills), Harlow at 5pm on January 11. She had then placed a number of items from the shelves into a bag and left the store without making any attempt to pay for them. She is described as white, aged in her late 30s to early 40s, with long dark brown hair in a ponytail.

She was wearing black boots, black trousers and a black coat with a green scarf.
