Stolen jewellery found in Harlow alleyways

News / Sun 23rd Feb 2014 at 11:55am

POLICE would like to hear from anyone who recognises a number of items of jewellery which were found discarded at two different locations in Harlow.

The first quantity of jewellery was found in an alleyway and wooded area in Finchmoor at 10.30am on Thursday January 23 and the second set on a cycle path at Woodcroft at 10am on Tuesday February 18.

One of each of the pairs of cufflinks was found at both locations so it would appear that both sets of items may have come from the same source.

Officers suspect the jewellery may have been stolen in a burglary but have not been able to match the pieces to any known break-in at this time.

If anyone recognises the items they can call DC Ann-Marie Pitcher at Harlow CID on 101.
