ONE OF Harlow’s most exciting sporting prospects is confident he can make the big breakthrough into US basketball.

Joshua Steel,(17) of The Hoo in Old Harlow, is rated as one of the top junior players in the UK.

He now has to make the decision as to which and American college to sign up with.

The 6ft 4ins tall player has already played for England at Under-18 level.

The Barking Abbey player, recently played in the Jordan Brand Classic International Game in New York. He now sits on offers from Montana State University, Florida Atlantic University and Drexel.
