PLANS TO axe school crossing patrols in Harlow have been met by howls of protest across the town.
Both Harlow MP, Robert Halfon and Labour candidate, Suzy Stride have added their concerns and backed petitions to prevent the crossing patrols being axed.
YH understands that there are only two crossing patrols running in Harlow. One for Potter Street and another for William Martin however we also understand that fifteen lay vacant.
YH spoke to Potter Street resident, Kelly Huckle about the proposals, the petition and the plans residents have to fight the “consultation”.
