Cyclist mugged in Bush Fair

POLICE in Harlow are investigating an assault which happened near the Tye Green Indoor Bowling Club in Bush Fair on Sunday, April 13.

A 19-year-old man from Harlow was riding a mountain bike at around 5.45pm when he was approached by a man who pulled his jacket, knocking him off his bike. Whilst he was on the ground he was punched and kicked by another man. His wallet containing a large sum of cash fell out of his pocket. His attackers ran off with it as well as taking his blue and yellow mountain bike.

The victim suffered cuts and bruises but did not need hospital treatment.

One of the suspects is described as being a white man with black hair in a Mohican style. He was wearing black or blue trousers, a black short sleeved T-shirt and black lace up plimsolls.
