THERE has been 144 burglaries in Harlow in the first two months of 2014, according to a government website.

Police.uk has reported that there were 83 burglaries in January and 61 burglaries in February 2014.

January

Only three of these indicate a person has been apprehended. A person was sent to prison for a burglary in Rectory Field; a community sentence in Thurstans and “awaiting a court outcome” from a burglary from a nightclub.

February

Only three of these indicate that a person has been apprehended. The three burglaries in Tracyes Road, BarleyCroft and Paddock Mead have the words: Awaiting Court Outcome next to them.

Crime is one of the key issues that YH will be focussing on between now and the local/euro elections on May 22nd.
