Harlow Town 2 v 2 Maldon and Tiptree

HARLOW Town scraped their second draw in three days in a 2-2 draw against Maldon and Tiptree at the Harlow Arena.

The dip in form will bring concerns that the Hawks are struggling for form just before the play-offs in two weeks time.

The good news is that Harlow have guaranteed a play-off place. The bad news is that Harlow have now slipped to fourth in the league and may face an away tie, possibly against form team, Heybridge Swifts.

Harlow took the lead early in the game, when James Smith opened the scoring after 21 minutes. 55 minutes had passed before Maldon leveled the game when Jack Stevenson scored it make the scoreline 1-1.

With nine minutes left on the clock, Ryan Wade scored for Maldon which put them in the lead for the first time in the game. With two minutes of normal time remaining, the leagues top scorer Alex Read leveled the scoreline to make it 2-2.
