Epidemic of burglaries in Harlow continues

BURGLARS are continuing to have a field day under the cover of darkness as well as broad daylight in Harlow.

Here is just a selection from just a 24 hour period in Harlow.

Wharley Hook

Police are investigating a break in at a house in Warley Hook, Harlow. It happened sometime between 8.45am and 2.30pm on Wednesday, May 8. Suspects forced open the front door of the property but did not steal anything.

The Dashes

Officers are investigating a break in a garage in The Dashes, Harlow. It happened sometime between 5.30pm on Wednesday, May 7 and 10am on Thursday, May 8. The lock was removed from the garage but nothing appears to have been taken.

Potter Street

Police are investigating a break in at a garage in Potter Street, Harlow. It happened sometime between 9.30am and 7.30pm on Thursday, May 8.

The lock on the front door of the garage was damaged but nothing appears to have been taken.

The Tithelands

Suspects unknown broke into a house in Tithelands, Harlow, and stole personal documents. It happened sometime between 10.30pm on Wednesday, May 7 and 6am on Thursday, May 8. The front door of the property was forced open.

Sycamore Field

Thieves tried to break into a house in Sycamore Field, Harlow. It happened sometime between 11pm on Wednesday May 7 and 6.30am on Thursday May 8. There was damage to the door frame.

Church End

Police are questioning a man on suspicion of burglary and theft of a motor vehicle following an incident in Church End, Harlow.

A house was broken into sometime between 11.30pm on Wednesday, May 7, and 5.45am on Thursday, May 8, the car keys to a black Ford Focus were stolen. A 19-year-old man from Harlow is currently helping officers with their enquiries.
