DETECTIVES are investigating a burglary and an attempted break in at two houses in Berecroft, Harlow.

Both incidents took place on Friday, May 9. The first one happened sometime between 10am and 12 noon. Suspects unknown forced open a door and stole various items of jewellery worth around £1,000. The second took place around 1pm. Suspects unknown tried to get into the house by forcing open a door. They damaged the framework but didn’t get inside.
