Harlow Tories in positive mood after election

Politics / Fri 23rd May 2014 pm31 05:02pm

OF all the people that we have interviewed for the local election, Harlow Conservative leader, Andrew Johnson, seemed to be the most positive and philosophical.

Cllr Johnson was clearly buoyed by Joel Charles victory in Old Harlow by a very emphatic 300 votes.

He also has a very philosophical view of the success of UKIP.

A pretty fair assessment - however how the Tories can be happy with coming third in the town is beyond me! UKIP won the popular vote! I notice our Tory MP hasn't given an interview then!!!!!
