Fallen tree at Sawbridgeworth causes chaos on Harlow rail line

OWING to a tree blocking the railway between Sawbridgeworth and Bishops Stortford all lines will be blocked.
Train services between London Liverpool Street, Bishops Stortford, Stansted Airport and Cambridge may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 mins at short notice. Disruption is expected until 18:00 25/08.
Abellio Greater Anglia tickets are being accepted on London Underground services between Liverpool Street and King’s Cross, First Capital Connect train services between London King’s Cross and Cambridge in both directions until further notice.
Customers are advised the following train service alterations will occur:
Liverpool Street to Cambridge services will be terminating and starting from Stansted Airport
Stratford to Bishops Stortford services will be suspended until further notice
Liverpool Street to Stansted Airport services will be suspended and passengers from Liverpool Street are advised to make your own way until alternative arrangements are put in place and this information will be updated shortly
Customers are advised some train services will be terminated and started from Broxbourne until further notice and we are making arrangements fro a bus replacement service and this information will be updated shortly

Customers are advised we are making arrangements for a bus replacement service to operate between Witham and Stansted Airport in both directions and this information will be updated shortly
There is no firm estimate yet of how long disruption will last but it is likely to continue until at least 18:00 25/08/2014
