Litter Pick

MEMBERS of the Waterhouse Moor Residents Association, organised a litter pick recently.

Eight people took part in a one hour session

A spokesperson said: “I attach a picture of our collection which resulted in a total of 40 lbs of rubbish being removed, with some quite disgusting finds. This was from the street, shops, churchyard, pond and cycle track.

“I wonder what we could achieve if we were to get more volunteers? We will organise more `litter picking days` in the future so hope to see you there?”
