Mindless yobs vandalise Harlow community bus

News / Sun 14th Sep 2014 at 05:00pm

Harlow Community TransportMINDLESS yobs smashed two windows out of a Community Transport Bus last weekend As a specially adapted vehicle for wheelchair access the replacement glass will cost almost £900.

The manager of Harlow Community Transport, Sam Stopplecamp would like to let the people who did this know what they have done.

Mr Stopplecamp said: “This amount of money will take months of work to recoup, and a number of groups and people have lost out on transport because the vehicle is out of service.

Harlow Community Transport is here to support the community, without us the independence of many people will be lost. To those who vandalize other people’s property from smashing windows to simple things like throwing litter on the floor or letting your dog foul the paths without cleaning it up, think of what you are doing, the next generation is watching. When it happens to you, you will know why.
We live in a great town; please help keep it that way.
