HARLOW’s Labour party candidate for the 2015 General Election, made a passionate speech at the Labour Party Conference.

Suzy called for a transformation in the protection of people’s lives in Harlow.

Ms Stride pointed to closure of children’s centres, the long queues outside foodbanks and the street-light switch off as evidence of decay and deterioration in Harlow society.

But Suzy Stride also pointed to hope and referred to a number of people in Harlow who had been helped by the local Labour-led policies.

Ms Stride said: “We have an opportunity to transform society in Harlow and the whole of the UK. Next year, at the election is a vital time for our residents and we must give them hope.”

Back to the bad old days of socialism, running Harlow down as a poor town, contradicting the upbeat message of her fellow Labour Party member, Cllr Tony Durcan, Regeneration Portfolio Holder, about how Harlow is open for business with lots of exciting new opportunities such as the Enterprise Zone, University Technical College and university, and major investment in high speed broadband, new highways and other infrastructure. And then there is her 'Thatchers legacy on Apartide was shocking' Tweet last night. Which university did she attend?
