Harlow MP Robert Halfon demands and gets apology from Labour over minimum wage slur

LABOUR Shadow Education Minister, Tristan Hunt was forced to make an embarrassing climb down after he went on the Daily Politics show and wrongly said that Robert Halfon opposed the minimum wage for disabled people,

Mr Halfon went straight to the House of Commons to get it corrected with a Point of Order.

According to Mr Halfon, the Shadow Minister, Tristam Hunt sent him a text apologising for the misinformation.

He said: ” I have campaigned strongly for increases in the minimum wage and I find his allegation incredible.”
