Update on illegal traveller encampment in Harlow

Coldharbour Road (land owned by Essex County Council):

There are currently seven caravans in this encampment. Essex County Council has a hearing at the county court for possession of the land today (Monday 12 January 2015).

Third Avenue/Elizabeth Way (land owned by Essex County Council):

The five caravans that were in the Passmores House car park have now moved to land at Third Avenue/Elizabeth Way. A progress update is being sought from Essex County Council.

Further updates will be issued.

If you witness any criminal offences please report it to Essex Police on 101 or, if the offence is still taking place, 999.

Anti-social behaviour incidents including fly-tipping and littering can be reported to Harlow Council. It is important that any offences are reported so they can be investigated and appropriate action taken. Reporting issues and incidents can also help support any legal action the Council takes.
