Update on illegal encampments in Harlow

South Road/Tany’s Dell Cycle track (land owned by Essex County Council):

This area is now clear.

Coldharbour Road (land owned by Essex County Council):

There are now 11 caravans in this encampment. Essex County Council has obtained a county court hearing set for Tuesday 27 January 2015.

Station Road/Priory Avenue (land owned by Essex County Council):

There are four caravans in this encampment which was set up over the weekend. Harlow Council is seeking an update from Essex County Council.

Further updates will be issued.

If you witness any criminal offences please report it to Essex Police on 101 or, if the offence is still taking place, 999.

Anti-social behaviour incidents including fly-tipping and littering can be reported to Harlow Council. It is important that any offences are reported so they can be investigated and appropriate action taken. Reporting issues and incidents can also help support any legal action the Council takes.
