Update on illegal encampments in Harlow

South Road (land owned by Essex County Council):
It is reported that there are seven caravans in this encampment. Essex County Council obtained possession of the land in the county court on Thursday 5 February 2015 and have served the encampment with an order to leave. If the travellers have not vacated the land by today (Friday 6 February 2015) ECC will be instructing bailiffs to carry out an eviction.
Tendring Road (land owned by Essex County Council):
It is reported that there are two caravans in this encampment. ECC issued a direction to leave yesterday (Thursday 5 February 2015) and will commence court proceedings if the travellers have not left by Monday 9 February 2015.
Edinburgh Way, near to Kwik Fit (land owned by Essex County Council):
It is reported that there are also two caravans in this encampment. ECC issued a direction to leave yesterday (Thursday 5 February 2015) and will commence court proceedings if the travellers have not left by Monday 9 February 2015.
Third Avenue/The Pinnacles (land owned by Essex County Council):
It is reported that there are nine caravans in this encampment. ECC issued a direction to leave yesterday (Thursday 5 February 2015) and will commence court proceedings if the travellers have not left by Monday 9 February 2015.
